Student Environmental Leadership Opportunity ages 15-22

EarthEcho International is excited to share the opportunity for young leaders to join the EarthEcho Youth Leadership Council.

The YLC provides young people with the unique opportunity to provide valuable insight and expertise from a youth perspective to the development of EarthEcho International’s programs, lead initiatives to engage young people in conservation work on a global scale, and develop programs to help support EarthEcho’s mission of inspiring young people worldwide to act now for a sustainable future.

Applications for this program are due April 13, 2018 and can be accessed, along with complete program details, at: http://earthecho.org/YLCApply.

DCSD Sustainability Steering Committee message

The Office of Sustainability is going through some changes with the recent departures of Courtney, LeeAnn and Max. We want you to know that Sustainability is still an integral part of our schools in the Douglas County School District and the Sustainability Steering Committee is committed to supporting and continuing to grow sustainability initiatives in all schools across the district. We look forward to continuing our Earth Week celebrations, supporting our schools and are looking forward to hosting our 2nd annual Green U for the 2018/19 school year.
