It is my hope that you work with your child at home each night on reading and math skills for all grade levels. We need our students to feel confident in these areas so that they can deepen their understanding in all areas. All students in grades 3-8 should know multiplication facts. All students should be able to read on their grade level. It takes all of us working together to help make your child successful in the classroom, home, and life. Thank you for your help with this matter. Set some family goals with your children that pertain to academics but also life. For example: Read one book per month as a family, spend time playing board games, exercise as a family, etc.

Ask your child what their goals are that they have gone over with their teachers.

Canned Food Drive & One last push to determine the winner for the Backpack Blessings Change Drive

Saddle Ridge is collecting canned food items this week. Please send in the food items to your child's teacher/homeroom. Aaliyah Ludy, one of our LHS students, is conducting this community service project to help end hunger in our community. The homeroom winner will receive a pizza party. The winner will be announced on Friday afternoon when the numbers are announced.

We need one more week to collect change for Backpack Blessings. Please turn in the change to your homerooms teacher so that we can get a final total .
