Is The Statue Of Liberty Important to Americans? The Statue of Liberty is important part of America.It is interesting because not everybody knows a lot about it. Not a lot of people can see it everyday. The Statue of Liberty is very nice and great looking. It is a great way to describe America. The history and the structure make America a great place.


Liberty wears a size 879 shoe.The Statue of Liberty is made of copper. The reason why liberty is green is because it has aged over the years and has changed he color. The Statue of Liberty is in New York.The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of freedom.


The city the statue is in liberty Island, New York. The sculptor is Prederic Guguste Parthnodi. Since 1933 it has been maintained by national park service. After the September 11 attack in 2001. It was closed for safety and security reasons.


There is 25 windows in the crown of liberty. The statues 300 copper pieces were transported to America in 214 crates. The seven spikes on the crown represents the seven oceans and the seven continents. The cost of the statue estmaited to about $ 500,000.


A broken chain lays opon her feet which i shard to see from the ground. The official name of liberty is "liberty enlighting the world." The head of the statue was displanted at the worlds fair in Paris,1878. Liberty Island was personally called Pledloes Island. The Statue of Liberty is 126 years old.
