What do we do?
Parasitologists is a branch of biology concerned with organisms that feed off of plants and animals of which they live. Parasitologists conduct research in many fields because parasites occur in many different environments and forms. From viruses and bacteria to insects and plants. We focus on medicine, food production, wildlife management, parasite evolution, taxonomy, genetics, and vaccine development.
What do I need?
Some requirements to become a parasiteologist are, having a bachelors degree or P.hD. in science. You also need to know how to identify a parasite and what treatments to use against them.
