School-Wide Learner Outcomes

School-Wide Learner Outcome #3 - Inspire students are Personalized Learners.

At Inspire, we have goals for our students that are known as Schoolwide Learning Outcomes. SLOs are a part of our school culture: they reflect our vision, the College and Career Readiness Standards, and the education of the whole child. Please take 1 minute to fill out this survey to share with us how your child is a Personalized Learner. Thank you!

Community Connections

Community Connections

We are making friends and learning so much! Is there any chance you would join us this spring for some fun? There are many opportunities across the central valley to enjoy the community and bring a smile to your schooling. You can find all of our field trips and free events in a couple of places. Here is a link to the Central Parent Resource Site where we have a Community Connections tab with our monthly newsletters posted. In these newsletters, you will find live links to register for the dates you wish to attend. Feel free to email michelene@inspireschools.org if you have any questions or great ideas to offer.

We hope to see your family SOON!

Attendance

Families will be able to take attendance this Thursday, January 23rd. Friday is a "no student" day, and we hope that your family will enjoy a day off.

Curriculum

Bright Thinker Curriculum

We are glad to offer a Bright Thinker as a new curriculum option for High School. Bright Thinker offers a packet program for high school classes. Each class is arranged in a series of packets for the students to complete. This curriculum is AG approved and does not need any supplementary lessons or assignments to receive credit. If you think this style of curriculum might benefit your student, please reach out to your HST to find out more information.

China Peak Snow Sports Outing - February 12

If your student completed a community college course in the fall, remember to send the transcript to our records department.

Once final semester grades are posted, please submit official transcripts to the Records Department so that the grade can be added to the high school report card. The report card will show an “Incomplete” grade until official transcripts are received.

Families can order paper or digital official transcripts.

Please mail all official transcripts to:

NCAA

If your student is interested in playing sports in college, please let your HST know as there are a number of specific requirements the NCAA places on student-athletes. We want to ensure that your student is on the right track! Both Edgenuity and Choice Plus Academy are NCAA approved high school curriculums.

For Parents

Inspiring Parents

Inspiring Parents meets the first Wednesday of each month from 1-2 where homeschooling parents can learn tips to grow their teaching toolkit. On February 5, we focus on writing.

Parents learned a bit during last Wednesday’s Inspiring Parents webcast which asked the questions: Am I Doing Enough? Am I Doing This Right?. The session was recorded.
