Leadership Team Pullout Day

Curriculum specialists, site leaders, and the Admin team will be meeting all day Monday. The purpose of the day is to develop and plan for next year in terms of our school culture and academic focus. The team will be looking at the needs assessments surveys, academic assessments, the 2016-17 site plan, and tapping into the groups experiences to create a meaningful vision for the coming school year. Strengths and research from Visible Learning will lead the way.

Our literacy improvements are outstanding. Currently we stand 2nd in the District in terms of average lexile growth within Achieve 3000. Our kids have an average growth of 113 lexiles. That is over 60 lexiles over the expected yearly growth for 8th graders. Mrs. Richards and Ms. Betanco were recognized for their amazing work and leadership by Achieve regional leaders.
