Lend-A-Hand Service Learning Day
Due to flooding at the Washington County Fairgrounds, we ask that all volunteers signed up for Lend-A-Hand day on April 13th, report to the Fairgrounds in Arlington. We will still start our day at 9:00 AM with an optional breakfast in the Rybin Building, located on the Washington County Fairgrounds. At 9:30 we will begin volunteering, feel free to stay as long as you’d like. Due to the amount of flood damage, volunteering will likely take longer than 2.5 hours. If you are unable to come in the morning all are welcome to stay and help into the afternoon.
Clean up efforts will vary; the fairboard will determine necessary jobs for clean-up. 4-H staff are communicating with the fairboard to determine what supplies & tools attendees will need to bring. Be watching for more information on that!
