Mrs. Lee's Class Newsletter
Week of September 30th
What's Happening?
We had a great week of testing. Students worked very hard to do their best. I am so proud to be their teacher.
We will have sack lunches on Monday. Students have made their choice of home lunch or school lunch. Please ask them what their choice was for Monday.
Library for check-out on Monday. Log reading minutes on Beanstack.
In this week's Friday Folder:
What are we learning?
Math (Mrs. Lee's Class): The unit test will be on Tuesday, 10/1. Students have received their study guide and we have discussed it in class. We will be starting our unit on decimals. We will start with understanding how the value of a digit changes when multiplied by powers of 10. We will not be teaching the idea that the decimal moves. Please help with this at home by not talking about the decimal moving.
Science (Mrs. Lee's Class): Classification test will be on Friday. Students have worked on their study guide in class this past week. We will discuss it at the beginning of the week.
Social Studies: We are finishing up our government unit. We have been learning how our US Constitution protects our rights as citizens. We will be finishing up this unit this week and testing on Monday, 10/7 (tentative date).
