your responsibilities are too keep order in the kitchen and hire staff, purchase food and make sure everyone is trained on preparation and kitchen safety. for example making sure food stays hot, ensure company standards are upheld, make sure the kitchen is safe and clean. you need to use your knowledge and experience of professional cooking to lead a staff to run a kitchen.
this is not a easy job! it can be stressful, the difficulty is dependent on kind of food we are making and the quantity. you usually work in close quarters and need to be able to stand for hours at a time patiently. there are hazards around the kitchen which include falls, slips cuts and burns. they are usually minor injury's if there is proper kitchen safety.
