Countdown...Superhero Style
Dear Everett Families,
This might be one of my favorite newsletters to send during the school year...counting down to summer! Monday is May 1 and that means we launch our ABC countdown to summer break. After today we will have 25 ½ days until summer break. That sounds crazy to me. I feel we were just kicking this year off, but what a year it has been with so much growth and learning for us all. So, muster up your superhero powers, don that cape, and prepare for the call as we round out this year.
Avengers Assemble!
Best,
Renée
For Your Information
Earlier today we practiced a fire drill with the LFFD and Officer Misa Maj as a school. Students did an excellent job of following directions and safely exited the building. Everett staff work hard to practice the expectations and ensure all students understand how to safely exit the building. The drill also included an additional layer of protection by testing ourselves by doing an attendance roll call of all staff and visitors in the building. All students and staff were accounted for. Please reach out with any questions. MISC.
