Please see our rotation calendar below. This will help you know your child's specials schedule. Remember, on PE days, please make sure to wear tennis shoes. This is for safety purposes as well as comfort when students are learning new activities with Mr. Penny.

You read that right! Staton Cheerleading is back! If you are in grades 3-5 and are interested in being on the Staton Cheer team, there will be an informational parent meeting on August 17th at 3:30 PM. On August 19th from 3:30-5:30 PM will be the tryout practice where they learn the tryout routine and then on August 21, (it's a Saturday) tryouts will be held beginning at 8 AM. The end time will depend on the number of students in grades 3-5 that try out. GOOD LUCK to all 3rd-5th grade boys and girls that try out. You've got this! MAP assessments will be given beginning Tuesday, August 17, 2021. First through fifth grades will be testing this week. Please make sure to get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast so you can do your best thinking.

PTO will hold their first meeting of the 21-22 school year on August 19 at 9:05 AM and it's IN PERSON! It's not too late to join. Click here to be a member of the fabulous PTO and support our students and teachers!

We will have Staton Spirit Day every Friday unless otherwise announced. Show your Staton pride by wearing Staton gear that can be purchased by clicking here, or wearing our school colors, green and white.

Please remember, the top Kiss 'n' go is also the bus lane for our bus students. The drive off of Falling Leaves will be blocked until the bus arrives. Once the bus has arrived, cones will be removed and cars may pull in behind the bus to wait for students to come up. Please be aware that the lane closest to the school is the only lane cars may come to a stop. The outer lane is for driving through only. NO STOPPING. Students must enter and exit vehicles from the passenger side only for safety purposes. If the bus is loading, remember, it is illegal for a car to pass a bus when their stop sign is out. As long as the stop sign is out, even the drive through lane will be blocked for the safety of our students. If you do not want to wait for the bus, it is recommend that you park on Falling Leaves or out on Sageberry. Also, please remind your students, DO NOT cross the Kiss 'n' go lane between cars. Students and families should be going to crosswalks to safely cross streets.
