FOOD DRIVE SUCCESS!!

Thank you to everyone who donated towards our Food Drive over the last few weeks! Our campaign ended with a total collection of 755 POUNDS OF FOOD, which equals approximately $1,500!! Our 5th Grade team came in 1st place with the most food donated. In a close 2nd place, our 4th grade team trailed 5th grade by only 3 pounds!! Way to go, Golden Eagles!! Your generosity and kindness in support of our Food Drive campaign planted kindness into our community. :)

BIRTHDAYS IN SCHOOL

If a parent wishes to bring a special treat for a student’s birthday, please coordinate with the teacher. Due to students with allergies and cross-contamination concerns, parents are required to purchase treats with the ingredient labels and we cannot accept homemade food. We encourage healthy, non-food alternatives. Please do not send in balloons.

Non-treat options to celebrate your student's special day in school:

- 10 extra recess minutes in honor of the child's birthday

- Donate a book to the class in the child's name

- Donate a game to the class for indoor recess in the child's name

- Send in a small token or goodie bags for each student in the class

- Send in a healthy, pre-packaged snack for the class to enjoy

If your student wishes to distribute invitations to a birthday party, please make sure that all students in the class are invited. If all students are not invited, please find an outside of school alternative to distribute the invitations.

Our school year 2022-2023 Yearbook is on sale. Use the form that was sent home last week (also attached below) to order.
