Intermediate Staff Newsletter
For the Week of March 19, 2018
Dear Staff,
Please make sure Kate has your student group lists for ERO week prior to leaving for Spring Break on Friday. Thank you for helping our R Factor team get ready for an awesome ERO week. As a reminder, each day you will be emailed a link to a short video and a few discussion questions. As a team, you can decide when you within the day it is best to show this video. Our district goals are to introduce E+R=O to students and Press Pause prior to the end of the school year. We believe these could be great tools that will assist us with a positive end to the school year.
With Spring Break looming, we wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you to recharge over the upcoming break. You have worked so hard! You have given time away from your own families to meet the needs of our students. We hope you'll find time to connect with your loved ones and enjoy some relaxation!
Let's make it a great week!

2. As a follow up to our RISE assemblies last week, we thought we would provide you a copy of the Code of Conduct. You can post this in your classroom, have students review it during Eagle Period, have them highlight a section during a RISE reflection opportunity or use as you see fit. Here is the link to the Code of Conduct found at the beginning of our PK-6 student handbook.
3. There have been lots of questions regarding section numbers, teaming structure, building movement and other items. As we've shared previously, staffing is a PK-12 process, once this is finalized in the near future, we can begin discussions about structure for next school year. Look for an email from Mr. Emery late this week as final staff details are put together. We will be meeting with each grade level to have discussions about many of these topics after spring break.
4. As a follow up from our OST staff meeting, here are the links to the Test Security and Ethics presentation, the draft testing schedule, OST script for testing, and Recommended Test Administrator Certification Course (Recommended for all new teachers and anyone who needs a refresher). As promised here is a direct link to reset your TIDE password. Simply click the bottom red line of text in the sign in box and reset your password.
5. If you are a staff member utilizing an SLO for this school year, a reminder that SLOs need to be completed and turned in to your evaluator by April 15. Also, if you are a full OTES and have not signed up for your second observation, please see Donna to schedule.
Thank you Culture Committee for a fun morning of Minute to Win It games!
