Friday Park Slope Armory Visits
As the weather gets colder, we will begin to miss some of our trips to Fort Greene Park. In an effort to provide our students with ample playtime, we have made arrangements to bus our students over to the Park Slope Armory.
Kindergarten, First and Second grade will visit the armory on a rotating schedule until the end of March. Want to join us? Sign up below!
First Grade at The New York Hall of Science
Observing, Predicting, Investigating and Tool Making! Our first graders will engage in science process skills (conducting experiments, comparing, classifying and sharing findings) by exploring the properties of bubbles. This includes making their own bubble blowing tools at the NYSCI's Bubble Brainstorm Workshop. This field trip will help kick start our IB unit on the Properties of Matter.
Kindergarten Transit Museum Field Trip
During our Transportation Unit, our students have been inquiring about the different ways that we travel around Brooklyn, the country, and the world. As part of our study, we will be visiting the New York Transit Museum. Yes! We are going on our first field trip!!!!!!
We would like two parents to accompany each class to the museum. Please see the slots below to sign-up, thank you.
