Lincoln Elementary Weekly Update

March 5, 2021

Note from Mrs. K

Good afternoon, Lincoln families!

Registration for the upcoming school year is in full swing! A ton of helpful information can be found on the Pella Schools website: Please reach out to the Lincoln office or to the registrar’s office if you have questions or need assistance.

Next Thursday, March 11th, your students will be participating in a Distance Learning day. Our building will be closed and students are expected to participate in learning activities using their Distance Learning Choice Board. Teachers will make sure a copy is in your child’s Take Home folder on Wednesday, and will also be able to provide you with a digital copy the day of, through Seesaw, if needed.

Your student will choose one activity from each column to complete during the distance learning day. A parent, guardian, or caregiver can mark each activity as completed (with a fun marker, a sticker, whatever - be creative!), then the Choice Board should be returned to your student’s Take Home folder. Activities should be easily accessible to your student at home, but teachers will be checking their email and Seesaw accounts periodically throughout the day on Thursday in case support is needed. There will not be live learning sessions for students in PreK-3rd grade on this date.

We hope you enjoy the beautiful weekend forecasted for Pella!
