Class of 2022 Graduation Checklist
WGHS Class of 2022 Graduation
Now that we are well into spring semester, we are excited to begin preparing for the Webster Groves High School Class of 2022 graduation ceremony. We are beyond proud of this graduating class and can't wait to celebrate with them. Prior to their important day, we are sharing what's coming soon and how you can help prepare for their big day. Please use this guide to assist you in your planning. As always, we are here to help if you have any questions along the way!
Graduation Details
The WGHS Class of 2022 graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 24, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Chaifetz Arena.* Please note that dates and locations are subject to change due to COVID-19. At this time, tickets are not required to attend at Chaifetz Arena, although each senior is allowed up to 8 guests.
Seniors and families will receive detailed information about the ceremony later in April.
*Chaifetz Arena largely determines whether we can host at their venue due to their own safety protocols. If we are unable to host the event at Chaifetz, we will most likely host graduation at Moss Field.

COLLEGE/CAREER PLANNING CHECKLIST FOR SPRING
February-March
- Continue to monitor your applications to be sure that all materials are sent and received on time.
- Watch for financial aid awards from each college. Carefully assess each with regard to how much of your need the award will cover. Inquire about other financing plans if a college does not meet your total need.
May
- Decide where you want to go. May 1 is National College Decision Day.
- Take Advanced Placement (AP) examinations if appropriate. Many colleges offer advanced standing based on AP exam results.
SENIOR FINALS/CHECK-OUT WEEK
Seniors will take their exams during their normal class periods. The schedule is as follows:
May 3: 7th hour
May 4: 5th/6th hour
May 5: 3rd/4th hour
May 6: 1st/2nd hour
Once seniors complete each final and their classwork obligations, they will not attend that class for the remainder of the week. For example, the majority of seniors will only attend 7th hour on Monday and Tuesday, and will be released that hour for the remainder of the week. By Friday, most seniors will only attend 1st and 2nd hours.
Senior Check-out is on May 6 from 10:20 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
Each senior will receive an Exit Slip prior to May 6. This completed/signed form will confirm they've met their academic and financial obligations/graduation requirements. Seniors must obtain signatures at each check-out station in the designated area. Once all signatures have been obtained, seniors will receive their cap/gown, which is the final step of Senior Check-out.
Full details regarding Senior Check-out will be shared in late April.
