TEA UPDATES
- Fall Semester is coming to a close, but we have much on the horizon!
- SC3100 2019-2020 Reporting Deadline — The schedule is due via eGrants by Friday, December 20, 2019. REPORT INSTRUCTIONS
- CTE Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment — These will be required during the 2019-2020 school year. TEA-created training for the needs assessment will be held at ESC Region 11 on January 21, 2020. You need to register for the morning training and have the option to attend the afternoon work session. SSA members must complete sections of the CTE CLNA together, which necessitates attending the work session. Release of your 2020-2021 Perkins application will hinge on successful submission of the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment - CLNA.
- Accountability Systems — PBMAS is no longer. TEA has moved to Results-Driven Accountability (RDA) and Effective Schools Framework (ESF) for School Improvement. (ESF is managed by the Center for Effective Schools - CES) If your CTE Performance Level is 3 or 4, your district submission is due by February 1, 2020. You submit one document for the entire district RDA; SPED, BE/ESL, ESSA, and CTE.
- Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs) — Here is the link to one-pagers. For accountability credit, you must use an approved vendor.
