Student and Family Virtual Talent Show - Still Accepting Submissions!
We are still accepting submissions to our Student and Family Talent Show! We will extend the deadline to Monday, May 2nd. See information below about what kinds of talent you can show off and how to submit your entry. We look forward to seeing all the talent that Gilbert Park offers!
Submission Information:
What: Students can submit talents individually or with family members.
Why: We want to provide an opportunity for families to get to know each other and value each other’s talents.
So what types of "talent" can you share? Singing, dancing and playing instruments are great, but you can also show off your athletic talents (sports, hobbies), your artistic talents (drawing/painting, building and creating), as well as anything else (cooking, training a pet, demonstrate your skills speaking more than one language, use your imagination). We are limiting the time to two minutes per student, so it may help to plan ahead and practice BEFORE you start recording.
How: There are a few ways you can submit a video: The easiest way is to use FlipGrid. We have posted a link to FlipGrid and a "How to" video that gives instructions for how to use the program at the bottom of this email. You can also submit any videos you record off your own devices to us directly through the google folder link included below or email it to amber_tatge@ddsd40.org.
