Google Family Link
For families with Android phones or Google, looking for a way to keep their children safe online, this app may be worth exploring. Google Family Link allows parents to block certain apps, set screen times, and lock/unlock their child's device. All of these features may be helpful in teaching and reinforcing healthy internet habits for your children and adolescents.
Clinician Corner
October is National Bullying Prevention Mont. In our last newsletter, we shared an article addressing how to teach children not to bully. This week we would like to share an article with strategies to help kids cope with bullies. Even if bullying is not a concern in your home at this time, these strategies are helpful to discuss with your children in order to better prepare them for the possibility that they may see bullying take place in the future.
