Below are some helpful terms to understand our jargon:
CTE: Career and Technical Education
CTSO: Career and Technical Student Organization
WBL: Work Based Learning

DECA
We had a very fun and successful time at our State Conference this past weekend, and if you see any of our students who participated, be sure to congratulate them!
With that being said, I wanted to give an extra shout out to our officer team, Maya Calugaru, and Hannah Mack!
Hannah Mack scored in the top 10% of the entire state in her state exam!
Our officer team did a great job at the conference, helping to guide our members through the process, particularly with so many new members. With that, because of their work with the DECA membership campaign, they helped our chapter earn 3 spots at Nationals in the Emerging Leader series!
Lastly, a BIG congratulations to Maya Calugaru, who finished 4th at State in her event, Business Finance Series. She has also qualified for Nationals in April!
To sum it all up, we will be taking 4 students to Nationals in Orlando, FL in April! Again, if you see any of our DECA students, please give them a big congratulations!
