Statewide Tornado Drill on March 19, 2019

Last week our students did an amazing job with the Statewide Tornado drill. Mrs. Dove and I were so impressed by how our students behaved during the drill. It was just another reason that we are proud of our students. They know how important it is to practice in the event that an emergency like a tornado occurs. Thank you students and teachers for a job well done.

I know that Mrs. Sweeney has been working hard with our chorus students helping them get prepared for tonight's event.

Mayfield Career Day

Mayfield Intermediate School's Career Day is this week. On Friday, March 29 from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. our students will be presented with great opportunity to see all the careers that they can start preparing for even at this young age. I know that this will be a rewarding experience for our students as well as our Career Day presenters. Thank you to Ms. Peterson and our amazing school counseling department for organizing this event.

Parents, take the time to talk to you children about your career this week. Share with them what you do during the day. Also, take the time to reflect with them after Friday's Career Fair. Maybe they will come home inspired to start preparing for a new career goal.
