EARLY RELEASE FOR ALL STUDENTS AT 11:30 am
There is no need to send in a note or sign your child out on this day if they plan to leave at the early release time.
Lunch will be available in the cafeteria from 11:30-12.
BUSES WILL RUN AT NORMAL TIMES-students may wait in the cafeteria until 2:25.
Here is what will be happening by grade level:
Freshmen Class Speaker (UpStander/Speak Love/Leadership theme)
Sophomores preACT Test
Juniors ACT Test*
Seniors Clermont Co Career Mentoring at the Oasis 7:30-11
*Juniors will take the ACT as part of the state testing requirements. There is no fee and registration will take place at LHS during the school day on 2/19. The score from this test may be used for CCP application purposes.
In order to help with finding success on the ACT, juniors are encouraged to practice for this assessment via ACT Academy. This free prep service is an online option for getting additional information about the ACT. Please see this link to get started - https://academy.act.org/
Senior Parent Meeting 2/26 at 6pm
There will be a Senior Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 26 with Mrs. Johnson in the high school cafeteria beginning at 6pm. The meeting will consist of important dates, information, and requirements pertaining to graduation. All parents of the Senior Class of 2020 are encouraged to attend.

Tiger Steps Ahead Career Development News
Great opportunity for FRESHMAN - Want to learn about the five hottest career pathways in the Greater Cincinnati area? Join us for Junior Achievement’s Inspire conference! It is a 90 minute interactive and hands-on exploration of our region’s hottest jobs. Designed for freshman in high school, students will engage in career interest exploration, networking skill development and resume editing while interacting with local industry professionals. The event will take place at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on Wednesday, March 11. Bus transportation will be provided. Students will be dismissed from class at 7:45 AM that morning. The event itself will last from 8:45 AM until 10:15 AM. We will return to LHS by 11:00 AM. Registration for the next two Tiger Steps Ahead Career Pathways presentations is now available. We are fortunate to have Mr. Steve Eder, Vice President of Messer Construction sharing information about construction careers and Ms. Bonnie Curtis, Chief Human Resources Officer with the Castellini Group discussing jobs in transportation, supply chain management and logistics. These unique opportunities will give students greater insights into the ways to be successful in these career fields. The next Tiger Steps Ahead Lunch and Learn event will take place on Friday, February 21st from 12:05-12:35 in the media center and is titled "Properly Leveraging Social Media". Ms. Adrienne Gutbier, the Manager for Internal Communications at Paycor will be our presenter. Students must sign up here in order to attend - LHS TIGER STEPS AHEAD LUNCH AND LEARN PROGRAM. Pizza will be served.

AAA Driving Class Spring Application Now Available
Applications for the Spring AAA Driving Class are available by clicking here. Applications can be filled out and dropped off in the main office. Classes begin February 29. Cost is $425 payable to AAA Driving School. Printed applications are also available in the main office. Any questions, please call 513 762-3207.
