Enchanted Care Westerville

A Note from Administration

Happy April! Now that spring has arrived, we’re looking forward to spending even more time exploring the outdoors. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather helps children learn and grow as they discover new things in their environment. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child.

School Pictures

Lifetouch Portraits will be here to take our spring school pictures on Thursday April 21st and Friday April 22nd. On Thursday, all Pre-K photos will be taken. All students with siblings at our school will have their individual and sibling photos taken Thursday also. On Friday, Infants, Toddler One, Toddler Two, Beginner and Intermediate students will have their pictures taken. If your child(ren) will not be in attendance on their scheduled picture day, they will have their pictures taken on the opposite day. If your child(ren) does not attend on Thursday or Friday, please stop by the office to speak with Cierra, or Heather about making arrangements.

Safe Footwear

Please keep in mind that the safest shoes for children to wear at school are tennis shoes. Open-toe shoes may not be worn to school. With summer coming please do not allow children to wear flip-flops or open-toed sandals to school. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but our main objective is to protect the children.

The Week of the Young Child

Week of the Young Child, April 4th-8th, is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. We have many fun activities planned for Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. We will send more information via Links 2 Home soon.

Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day, each class will pick a special project to create with donated recyclables. We are requesting donations of paper towel rolls, egg cartons, baby food jars, and plastic bottle caps. Please give these items to the classroom teachers. Thank you in advance for your participation!

Parent Survey Reminder

Our enrolled parent survey closes April 15th. This survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please let us know if you haven’t received it.

Egg Hunt

On Wednesday April 13th we are hosting an egg hunt for each class with a special appearance from a "hoppy" friend! We are asking for donations for our egg hunt of filled plastic eggs. Please do not put candy or items that would be considered a choking hazard in the eggs. We will send plenty of pictures of the event through Links 2 Home.

Parking Lot Safety

Please remember to drive slowly and cautiously through our parking lots. There are several small children and their families in the parking lot throughout the day and we want to keep everyone safe!
