Shout Out!
From Dawn... Please give Amy a shout out for all her work in getting Primary RtI forms into DataMap so we can have an electronic system. This took a lot of time to get accomplished, and I appreciate all she did!! (Nice work, Amy!!!)
Congratulations!!!!!
In case you didn't know, our very own Dawn Hartwell is now Dawn Kochanek (or Mrs. K. as the kids will call her). Dawn and Dave were married on Saturday. Congratulations!!
Happy Boss' Day
Today is Boss' day, so I assume we'll find Kent relaxing in his office, feet up on the desk, enjoying a quiet Monday.....or not. Thank you for all you do, Kent, to keep us moving and helping each of us grow professionally. Enjoy your day!
Business
New Business:
- DLT / BLT Survey-- DLT is tomorrow. Agenda is as set in the A-Team notes with the addition of Kelli leading a MAX strategy to get us started. I am working to create visually appealing charts from the BLT survey data. If you'd like a preview, see the additional tabs in this spreadsheet. I'll send the agenda and resources out as soon as I've finished those charts.
- A-Team-- Canceled this week, but plan to attend the Worker's Comp meeting at 12:00
- Inservice Presentations-- Below are the standards revision presentations from Friday. You might want to take a quick look in case your teachers have questions.
Old Business:
- Book Study-- We agreed to read Ch. 3, 5, and 11 by 11/1 A-Team
- RtI Triangles-- Please bring completed 11/1
Math Revision
No changes until 2018-2019. Presentation highlights Crosswalk document (old --> new standards), calculator resources, and new stats model for use in grades 6+
*Please encourage your teachers to reference these resources so we're ready to make changes for next year!
ELA Revision
No changes until 2018-2019. Presentation highlights new Glossary (this is great! Makes sure we have common understanding of ELA terms like "Point of View" and "Claim / Counterclaim / Argument"), Crosswalk document, and ODE-produced "Guides to Teaching..." summaries, thesis statements, and theme vs. main idea.
*Please encourage your teachers to reference these resources so we're ready to make changes for next year!
