Principal's Message
Happy Summer! Our amazing PTO and families have organized summer socials by grade level for our students to get to know one another prior to school starting - we hope you and your children will take advantage of these fun get-togethers. If your family is able, please stop by the Hallinan Playground on the appropriate date:
- Kindergarten - Tuesday, August 23 at 5 pm
- 1st Grade - Thursday, August 18 at 6 pm
- 2nd Grade - Wednesday, August 3 at 4 pm
- 3rd Grade - Monday, August 1 at 4 pm
- 4th Grade - Tuesday, August 9 at 3 pm
- 5th Grade - Wednesday, August 17 at 5 pm
Small treats may be provided for students in that grade level. If you will have additional children attending that might feel left out, please bring a snack for them.
I hope your summer has been fun-filled and full of exploration and reading!
Melissa Griffiths

Extended Care at Hallinan
Champions will provide before and after-school programming for our Hallinan students this year. Champions’ accredited programs have more than 30 years of experience providing high-quality out-of-school-time services that balance education and fun in a safe, enriching environment. Their school-year program will be conveniently located right here at Hallinan.
Guided by Champions’ passionate teachers, our students will have the chance to explore their curiosity and interests and build confidence and community through hands-on projects and activities. In addition, time will be set aside each day for homework support/completion, healthy snacks, and fitness.

Teachers will be familiar with your student’s plan and accommodations. To help get to know your students, please complete the attached one-page profile or create one on your own ahead of time, and give it to the teacher at the Smart Start introduction.
