WHAT WENT WELL THIS WEEK…...
By Peyton J.
Something that went well this week was my birthday! We were off on my birthday because it was Thanksgiving break so we had no school for a few days. Since it was the day after Thanksgiving we had SO much food in the fridge but since I was the birthday girl I got to choose what we had for breakfast and I choose… Dunkin Donuts.(Dunkin Donuts is a donut and coffee place) I asked for a Boston cream. It's my favorite type of donut! It was SO good! I ate my donut and got dressed right away. I wore something comfortable because we were getting our nails done! I wore leggings and one of my favorite sweatshirts. Just so you know my Grandma on my mom's side came and it was super special because she lives in Ohio and that is more than 8 hours away. We got to the place she took me to my favorite nail place and I chose a baby blue and a glitter polish to go on top. It was so pretty. My Grandma got a red gel and my sister got a baby pink with glitter polish to go on top ( You couldn't see her pink as well because there was too much glitter. My mom got a maroon ish gel. My friends got me some presents throughout the day. We went out to Hibachi with my family. We went back to my house to open some gifts and eat cake. I got a video game and video game add ons. And CLOTHES they wore cute though I also got legos they are my favorite ones! My mom made a homemade oreo cake! It was delicious. The day came to an end and I had the best birthday ever!

A LOT of things went well this week!! The world cup was playing and I got to see some of my favorite soccer teams play!! Something that happened in school that was good was recess!! Recess is SO fun because I get to see all my friends!! Sometimes we just walk around and talk, haha, but we also get to go on the swings, the slide, and more!! On wednesday me and other kids in fifth grade that are in the kindness ambassador club had a meeting!! The meeting is at 1:05 - 1:35. So it is 30 minutes!! We got our lanyards and we got a piece of paper where we can write our name and decorate it!! It was fun there were colored pencils and markers!! I had FUN making them!! Thanks for reading!!

Message from the Principal
November always goes by so quickly! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the long weekend.
There are many events and activities this month including: The FPTA Holiday Lights, the 4th grade and Show Choir Holiday concert, and the district elementary Holiday Concert. Please be sure to check dates and times for these events.
Report cards will be available to you through the Real Time portal on 12/16. Please be sure you have access ahead of time.
The weather (sadly) is now getting colder. The chilly, fall weather is here.
As always, I ask that you follow proper arrival and dismissal procedures. Parking on Clover Hill Drive (anywhere but directly in front of the school) is not allowed by town ordinance. It makes it difficult for buses to see and safely enter/exit the lot.
Also, we needed to open our gazebo lot for Staff Parking Only. The handicap spot is for staff and students that require it. All other parents, please drop off in the carline, use the parking in front of the building or on the side streets. I greatly appreciate your time with this matter.
Thank you and have a nice weekend!
