Shared Reading Focus 1: 4.9.D(a)Central Idea and details Students will identify the central idea and supporting details in each subheading.

Istation: 30 minutes per day, 3 times a week is still an expectation. There really aren't many students who have been on Istation at all so a reminder might be good.

Recommended Time: 3 times a week for 30 minutes.

Main Ideas:
Between 1930 and 1945, the Great Depression, a terrible drought, and World War II caused hard times for Texas. After World War II, Texan focused on equal rights and growing industries.
