Planning for Level 3

17 September 2021

Dear Parents/Caregivers

I would like to commend our students, staff and of course you, the parents and caregivers, on the great job you are doing to support our tamariki.

Alert Level 3

On Monday we will hear if we will be moving to Level 3. If we move to Level 3 we would like to remind you that our school essentially remains closed with the exception of those few children whose parents work away from home and cannot arrange suitable supervision.

Onsite staff will supervise students with their distance learning.

It is important that you tell us in advance if you need the school to supervise your child.

Please read the information below and complete the Google Form if you know you will need to send your child to school to be supervised. Please do this as soon as possible as it will help us with our planning.

Key points

  • The only students who will be attending are students whose parents/caregivers work away from the home and cannot arrange suitable supervision.

  • Distance learning will continue for all students. Students who are being supervised at school will continue with their distance learning.

  • Students must bring their own lunch, water bottle and any snacks they need.

  • Students will stay in the same classroom for the day, except for outside break times.

  • Social distancing will be maintained – inside 1m distance, outside 2m.

  • Parents/caregivers are asked to keep any sick children at home. If an unwell student comes to school, they will be sent home.

Kind regards
