Instructional Focus:
It really warmed my heart to see all of you dancing with our students at the Remix event! The kids loved seeing it too! I know that Apex can be a huge distraction, but we really finished the fundraiser strong.
As we learned in our ACEs meeting last week, it's essential that we try to keep our daily routines in tact (as much as possible). The weeks before break tend to have a lot of other "stuff" but if you can, keep things the same. All students (and teachers) benefit from a predictable routine and structure. Let's finish the quarter on a strong note!!!
Thank you Ryan!!!!
Thank you Ryan, and I appreciate the rest of you coming with an open mind.
FERPA Reminder....
For example, if Johnny and Ryan get into a fight at school, while I am talking to Ryan's family, I cannot mention Johnny's name at all.

Suns vs. Knicks...
They have donated 40 Suns tickets to this Wednesday's game (3/6) against the New York Knicks (start time is 7:00).
If you would like to go, please email me with how many tickets you will use and I'll get them to you after I go pick them up downtown.
Jeans Reminder....
With that in mind, this is a Spirit Week, so jeans are allowed all week.
Field Trip Reminder....
- As soon as I sign your grade's permission slip, please send an email to the entire campus letting them know what times you will be gone. This allows specials teachers and IA's to make other plans.
- Additionally, GPS policy is to get medication information from Ellen 48 hours in advance of leaving. THIS MUST HAPPEN! You never know who is going to be gone or come in late.
Teacher Surveys
After giving them to the appropriate group, calculate the results and fill out the reflection sheet. I need the results page and reflection sheet turned into the front office by March 25.
Every year, I hear a comment that's similar to "nothing like having 7 year olds have a say in my evaluation." Breathe. As long as you look at the data reflectively, you will get a "4" for that component.
Balloon Down....
For those of you that picked "Before Spring Break" you were correct :)
Harcourt Collection...
If you have materials that you would like taken, please place outside your classroom no earlier than this Thursday.
Remember, the next time to get rid of these materials will be during summer vacation, and EVERYTHING must go at that point.
