Maximize Student Engagement
One of the great things about the Teaching Professor Conference is the number of “plug-and-play” activities, exercises, and concepts you can pick up. Our colleague, Dr. Brandon Szuminsky, shares a self-guided tour of four such activities (below).
Traveling Troops - The Teaching Professor Conference
If you’re passionate about pedagogy, this conference is where you want to be.
You’ll experience three days devoted exclusively to the art and science of teaching, in the company of 1,000+ colleagues
—all of them just as committed to classroom excellence as you are.
See the Faculty Center Website Page for Details
Literature Review Matrix
To support students in research projects and synthesizing multiple texts and resources, listen to a strategy one of our colleagues, Dr. Stephanie Richman, learned about at the Lilly Conference.

21-Day Racial Equity & Social Justice Challenge
Join our colleagues Dr. Ken Schneck and Mrs. Christie Shrefler, and register for the “21-Day Racial Equity & Social Justice Challenge” coordinated by the Cleveland YWCA. The Challenge is designed to create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership.
