Student Progress Information
Student Learning Profiles
Your child's Student Learning Profile (SLP) will tell you how they are progressing and if they are able to demonstrate their understanding of the content in their classes. Students may earn an ME, MS, AS, or AC for each academic content standard. Teachers also report behavior and learning habits. Behavior is shared under PBIS marks and learning habits are shared under Work Completion.
Please contact your child's teacher if you have questions about their standard marks. SLPs will be released in Skyward Family Access on Tuesday, March 2nd.
Academic Assistance Hour
Please contact the recommending teacher with questions.
Summer School Recommendations
Teachers will be contacting parents in the next couple of weeks if their child has been recommended for summer school. Summer school will be held at Indian Trail from July 12-30 in the morning only.
Home Visits for Attendance Concerns
Without having students in person, it is more difficult to connect with families. Our home-school liaison is working to support families and help reduce chronic absenteeism. Mrs. Galvez makes home visits to check on students and help solve attendance issues. If your child is struggling or not attending class, you can expect to receive a home visit from her. The purpose of her home visit is to connect with families and determine what barriers are preventing your child from attending school.
We are here to work with you to support your child. If you have questions about your child's attendance, don't hesitate to reach out to the grade level administrator, the attendance secretary, or our home school liaison.
