Monomoy students attend All Cape & Islands Music Festival
"Being the 60th anniversary of the All Cape & Islands Music Festival (both Rose & I participated when we were in high school during our respective times), it was a massive undertaking, with 3 of the 4 guest conductors being Cape Cod school graduates who also participated in the festival during their high school years.
Many of the photographs feature several of our Monomoy students who were there for three intensive days. Traditionally, the concert ends with the concert band, but this year, being a large anniversary event, a piece was commissioned for the event. A 2007 graduate of Bourne High School composed a massed piece for all four ensembles, so the closing of the concert was with all 350+ musicians on stage (which you can see in some of the photos in the gallery).
This was one of the largest groups that we have ever sent to All Cape (40), all of whom were able to participate in this massed piece, and both Rose & I are IMMENSELY proud of all these students."

February and April Vacations
One of the best ways to research colleges is to visit the campus and take a tour. School vacations are an ideal time to schedule a tour so you can see what student life looks like. If you are traveling or planning a staycation, see if you can check out a local college. Being on a campus is a great experience and will help students as they start to plan life after high school.
Thank you!
Thank you to all those that recognized National School Counselors Week. We realize what an awesome responsibility we have with working with your children. Thank you for all your support. We are fortunate to work with such great students and supportive families.
Best Regards,
The School Counseling Team
