November News and Information
Thank you so much for participating in this year's Panther Pride Fun Run at Pope Elementary! It was a huge success; together we raised $60,000 for our school.
On Friday, November 20, for every $100 a student collected in paid pledges, that student gets one yard of tape to tape Mrs. Koop to the wall.
Thank you again for all you've done to make this a fun, successful program!

PTO Membership Directories
All PTO Members will receive their Student Directory before Thanksgiving break. Again we thank you for your membership and continued support of the Pope PTO.
Our 3rd annual Boo Bash was a huge success and had our largest attendance ever! We are glad the rain stayed away and we were able to put on another fun night for our Pope and Bridgeland families.
A BIG thank you to our amazing Boo Bash committee, PTO volunteers, Cy-Ranch NHS/Key Club Members and all of the nearby businesses that showed their support for our event. We hope everyone had a spooktacular time!
This year’s Boo Bash event had contributions and support from several local businesses (please click the link to view the list) http://www.popepto.org/p/boo-bash_7.html
We encourage all of our Pope families to visit or use these community businesses in the future.

Box Tops December Music Party
Tuesday, December 15 is the last day to turn in your Box Tops to qualify for the Wednesday, December 16-Music Party during lunch. Every grade met the goal of 1500 box tops last month and had a blast at the music lunch parties.
Here are the most recent numbers. 1st grade has already met their goal for the music party-way to go!
Keep collecting those Box Tops!
Multicultural Day Celebration
We are so excited to have a fantastic team for Multicultural Day Celebration! Our team is in need of only a few more volunteers, if you could help us on January 27, 2016. This is a day where each grade rotates through four countries and learns about cultures, food, people, history and so much more! We need a Lead for Egypt (we have assistants) and a Lead for Haiti (we have an assistant). We could use 6-10 volunteers on the day of the celebration in different classes, helping with crafts or serving food. If you can help please contact Julie Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
