reminder - drop off and dismissal procedures

This is a friendly reminder that all parents need to follow our drop off and dismissal routes to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

* ALL families MUST enter from the 1093 feeder road. NO cars should be coming from Hwy 99 and cutting into the line.

Please understand that our staff members are instilling in your students the importance of following directions and obeying the rules and we ask that this starts with you doing the same during drop off and dismissal.

Thank you to all the families that have been following these procedures. Please understand that staff members are unable to handle disputes on Grand Corner as we have been told we'd be ticketed. Please call the local police department if problems continue to occur.

A note from our lunch clerk

Students are not allowed to purchase a la carte items if their account has a $0 or negative balance. If they are purchasing a milk, we will allow them one charge as a courtesy. The Lunch Clerk will inform the student and parent that there must be funds in the meal account for a la carte purchases. The next attempt to purchase a la carte items will be denied until the account shows a positive balance.

The district charge limit applies to reimbursable meals only and not a la carte purchases.

Save the date for our 2nd Annual Health Night

All HSA Katy Elementary students and their families are invited out for a night of fitness, health, wellness and fun. We will have various stations, exercises and activities highlighting what our students do in Physical Education classes! We will also have flu shots and other vaccines available on site to keep you safe during the holiday season. Come play some games, exercise, eat some healthy snacks, and visit with various professional health organizations. We will have lots of prizes to give away throughout the evening, and we hope to see you there!
