Assessment Calendar (Dibels & DRA)

Mr. Schmidt is updating this year's assessment calendar and should have it ready by early to mid next week.

Title I paraprofessionals have started facilitating Dibels. Dibels will continue through the week of September 26th.

Please start submitting your preferred DRA testing date and time (AM/PM) to me. It is your responsibility to secure a preferred substitute teacher, however this is optional. The DRA could open as soon as next week and scheduling dates will keep us ahead of the game.

Early Dismissal September 28th

The first early dismissal will take place on September 28th. School will dismiss at 2:05 pm.

From 2:15 - 4:15 pm teachers will be engaged in Data Meetings. You will receive a schedule determining what time your grade will meet for Data Meetings. Please bring all relevant student achievement data to the meeting.

From 4:30 - 5:45 pm teachers will be engaged in 5D+ training. You will learn more about the online component PIVOT, how to complete your self-assessment, growth plan, and IDP's. Remember the focus for evaluations this year will only be on the Dimensions Purpose and Classroom Environment & Culture.

Hagens Heroes

Please be on the lookout for students going over and beyond to show respect, responsibility, and safety here at Elms. I would like to recognize these students as Hagens Heroes. All you would need to do is complete a Hagens Heroes form, which are located in the mailroom and give it to me directly.

Students who have stepped up or spoken out against any kind of bullying or mistreatment of others would meet the criteria to be recognized.
