A Note From The Principal
Greetings Smith Families,
Welcome 2023! What a great 1st week back in the new year. It was wonderful to see all our students and staff back in the building and so many parents coming and going! A HUGE thank you to PSS for providing staff drinks and goodie bags when we returned since we had the unexpected "cold" day before break!
Speaking of before break; 2022 really ended on a high note with so many celebrations and acts of generosity. Students were able to perform their Christmas Concert at HMS auditorium on stage in front of a packed house. It was wonderful to experience the excitement and sense of accomplishment our students felt. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend and experience the event in person. Our school community food drive was once again a huge success. We had over 2300 pieces of food and $780 donated to feed families in our school community over break! There were also other generous donations supporting families through the holidays and monetary donations to pay down student lunch debt. Thank you! I really appreciate all the support each and everyone of you give to your child(ren) and our school community!
