Conclusion, References, and Acknowledgements due Tuesday, January 7.

Conclusion: What is the answer to the 'Problem?' How do you explain your results. The conclusion is written in sentence form. The Science Fair Journal has an excellent format to follow.

References: Create a list of references you used for your background information, definitions, and experiment in bibliographic format. On the Patton Science Fair Page, there is a link to the Citation Maker. This creates the reference list in correct bibliographic format. The link is posted below.

Acknowledgements: A list of the people who helped with the project. It is a sentence that includes the name of the person and what the person did to help.

Thank you for your time, patience, and dedication to helping your child with his/her science fair project.

Volunteers Needed!

Patton is looking for judges for our Wednesday, January 29 Patton Science Fair 2014! We'd greatly appreciate your donation of 2-3 hours to help judge our outstanding students' projects. You can judge any time during the school day, finishing around 2:00. If you can come early, we'll hold an in-depth judges training from 8:00-8:45. A second training will happen from 11:00 11:45. After that, we'll do a quick training for judges as they arrive throughout the day. If you can help us out, please email Marisa Flores at

Also, please feel free to pass this request on to family and friends. The more judges we have, the lighter the load on everyone. Plus, this is a fun, easy way to serve your community.
