MIS Monday Message
June 8 - 12
Time to Relax (and set a few goals, too!)
As you think about your summer, I bet you have set some goals for yourself. Maybe you want to clean out your closets, eat healthy, or accomplish something you don't have time to do during the school year. Two of my goals are to paint a downstairs bathroom and finally paint the closet doors for my house. I'm hoping I can accomplish both! Along with personal goals, I've been thinking about my professional learning goals. I have a few books already picked out that I want to read that show promise. What goals do you have for your professional learning? I know you've all been thinking about your PGP and where you will focus your professional learning for next year, so begin thinking about what you'd like to learn this summer to kick-start that learning.
It's time to start reading Mindset. If you haven't started already, then try to read Chapter 1 this week. I'll be posting some reflective questions starting next week to help you think about what you're learning. These can be used in the book clubs you have or for your own personal reflection. If you or your group comes up with great questions, please feel free to share them with all of us.
I'll miss seeing your faces this summer while I'm up at school, but I hope you all get some well-deserved rest. Please send me pics throughout the summer of your greatest adventures so I can share them with everyone.
Relax and sleep in tomorrow. Heck - you can even wear jeans! :)
Heather and Ashley are already enjoying the beach with their sweet babies!
