Intervention Meeting Monday
As Mr. Carrell said in the video, we must improve our D rating and implementing intervention will go a log way to helping us do that. This will be a team effort.
Absences
Thank you all for stepping up last week when we could not secure subs to cover everyone who was out. Your willingness to help speaks volumes! We have a couple more days this week that will be tight. We are hopeful that we will be able to secure subs for a couple of unfilled positions.
Please be aware that personal days must be approved by me. Do not enter a personal day into Aesop and think that it will automatically be approved, particularly on Fridays.
As was mentioned in our meeting last week, even the best substitute teacher cannot replace you in the classroom.
CKH
What are two things you are modeling well for your students?
What are two challenges?
What are two things you can refine? Where are you stuck?
Let us know how we can help.
There are still students with whom we may not have built a trust relationship. Don't give up on them. Some of them have spent years trusting very few people and allowing others in takes extra time. Share a bit more of your story with them. You may be surprised at what that will do for the dynamics of the class and for those students who are reluctant to trust you.
