Chamber Orchestra meets Monday morning at 8 AM in the orchestra room.
Broncos: Barnes C. - pretty chill guy with a great sense of humor & cool hair! Cares about his learning and will ask questions related to anything he may have missed, Engages well with his groupmates
Tomcats: Emma H. Emma is the definition of a great student. She works extremely hard, takes pride in her work, and demonstrates a growth mindset. She is kind to whomever she is working with and is someone that people like to be around. Emma is just an all around great person and the Tomcats are extremely lucky to have her on our team
Eagles: Subina S.Subina is one of the most hardworking students. She puts in maximum effort and embraces a love for learning. She is also very sweet, kind, and respectful to all. Keep up the great work, you are awesome!
Mustangs: Hayden L. Hayden is quietly AWESOME! Always on time with all of her materials, Hayden is happy to work with anyone in a group work situation. Keep up the good work!
Seahawks: Ellen K. The Seahawk teachers are proud to nominate Ellen Kees as their Bruin of the Week. We can always count on her to uphold the pillars of character in her interactions with students and adults. She is a terrific example of a Bruin that stands out among her peers.
Skyhawks: Ethan E. Ethan exhibits all the qualities in FPS guidelines for Success. He works hard, is responsible and respectful, along with being kind and courteous to staff and students.
Bearcats: Thomas H. Thomas is a great young man! He has a positive attitude and comes to class with a growth mindset. He works well with others and is willing to help his fellow students out. We love his sense of humor!

CBE students - If you enjoy writing and would like to showcase your talent and possibly even win some money, please consider entering the Patriot’s Pen Writing Competition. This year’s theme is “My Pledge To Our Veterans.” This patriotic essay writing competition is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. Prizes and scholarships can be awarded at the post, district, state, and national level. The first-place national award is currently $5,000. To qualify, all entries must be submitted by midnight on October 31st. Please see Mrs. Magnuson in room 303 or email her at email@example.com for more information regarding how to register and get started with your essay.
Attention Gamers! Fargo South Esports is now recruiting for the upcoming season. Any student from grades 8-12 may participate. (Sorry 6th and 7th graders…) In order to participate, you will be required to maintain academic eligibility and pay the high school activity fee. Practices will take place after school at South in room C19E. If you can not make it to South, you can participate online. Participants are required to have a Discord account.
The first practices will begin the week of October 10th. The two weeks after Thanksgiving will have the preseason games. The regular season will start in January and end in March.
Teams making the playoffs will attend an in-person tournament March 31st and April 1st in Grand Forks. If interested in participating in esports you will need to contact Mr. Reichenbach (firstname.lastname@example.org) or talk with Mr. Marcus.
