By Cody McClarnon

Types of Hydroponics Systems

The wick system, water culture, and the drip system are all types of hydroponics systems.

Plants You Can Grow With Hydroponics

You can grow chives, parsley, basil, thyme, onions, and carrots with hydroponics.

Advantages of Using a Hydroponic System

Hydroponics provides plants with extra oxygen in the growth phase, growers are able to control the nutrients given to the plants, and it is easier to find deficiencies.

Disadvantages of Using a Hydroponic System

A hydroponics garden requires regular attention, if you leave it alone for a short time the plants will die, and they are frustrating to deal with.
