A Message from Ms. McKay
While we are only in January, the district has begun the budget process for next school year. Each year, school teams and district teams prepare budget proposals for the School Board to review. Through several months of number crunching and discussion, items are added and removed before a budget is presented to voters. School Board meetings throughout the spring include discussions and reviews of the proposed budget, and the final vote occurs in June at Budget Validation Referendum meetings in town polling locations. If you are curious about the RSU budget for the coming year, you should tune into the Board meetings on March 25th and April 29th, as well as the Public Forum on Monday April 1st.
