Weekly Update - April 27 - May 1
I cannot believe how quickly this month has flown by even without being in our school building together. At this time, students should have turned in all assignments from the third quarter. Teachers will be working to grade any assignments that were turned in on the deadline which was Friday, April 24. They have all week to get grades entered and posted, so please continue to be patient with them as they wrap everything up this week.
Although the third quarter assignment correction period is closed, the district will continue to post continuous learning lessons on the Dashboard through the remainder of the school year which ends on May 13.
We look forward to seeing you on the next several Tuesdays as you come to Central to drop off items and pick up locker contents. If you have not filled out this form already, please do. It will help us know whether you are picking up locker contents are not so we can be totally prepared for you. Remember to pull in at Rankin Loop and a staff member will greet you and will assist you in every way! We continue to work to keep our building as germ free as possible, and we are in the middle of deep cleaning. Thank you for assisting us by staying in your vehicle.
Please remember that even if you are not picking up your student's belongings from the locker, we DO NEED YOU TO RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS, UNIFORMS, and STUDENT IDs. If you are moving out of district, please return instruments (if the school owns them) and Chromebooks.
If you are returning to an EPS school next year, your student MAY KEEP his/her Chromebook through the summer! We hope this is helpful to you! Also, it sounds like some of you have tried to get ahold of Oklahoma School Pictures and haven't been successful. Please send firstname.lastname@example.org an email if you DID NOT receive your already purchased spring pictures. I will work to track them down for you!
Finally, if your student or your family is struggling in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We truly want to be of assistance as we all work through these unprecedented times together. Please stay safe and healthy!
