A Message from our Principal...
WOW!!! What a week!!! We can't thank you enough for your support this year...and it's only September!!! Our Boosterthon Glow Run fundraiser was a HUGE success because of YOU and your love for our school!!! Also, remember that donations can still be made at www.funrun.com through Sunday night. Thank you SO much!!! I can't wait to get the final earning totals!!
I would also like to thank you (again) for your patience, your smiles, your waves and love during our final days of construction. We realize that the traffic has been extra heavy due to limited parking and limited lanes for drop off and pick up......BUT the end result is going to be BEARTASTIC!!!
Starting on Monday, we will have Wylie PD present during our morning drop off to assist with traffic control. We are excited to have this extra help to ensure everyone makes it through the car line safely.
Next Wednesday is our first Wylie ISD Wylie Way Day!!! WOOHOO!!! We would love for our families and friends to join us as we kick off our learning that day in the cafeteria with a Bear Boogie @ 7:30 a.m.!!! We are asking that each grade level wear a different color to support our theme for the day! Grade level colors are listed below!!
---Kinder- Blue
---1st- yellow
---2nd- Black- black will be the main color, but feel free to add the other olympic colors to make it fun! Think an olympic rainbow. :-)
---3rd- green
---4th- red
Learning begins each day at 7:30 a.m. We want to make sure our Bears don't miss a thing in class. **Students will be counted tardy after 7:30 a.m. Don't be tardy for the learning party! Thank you in advance for getting your child to school on time.

A Message from our Assistant Principal.......
I am so proud of our 1st through 4th graders for working so hard on their MAP testing. They have given the teachers all of the data that they need to help them LEVEL UP this year!
Next week our 3rd and 4th graders will be taking their first district math test. 3rd grade will be testing Monday and Tuesday. 4th graders will be testing on Thursday and Friday. I know that they are going to achieve their goals and ring the bells! I can't wait to hear the bells ringing in the hallway.
Have a great weekend!
BEARy best wishes...
