General News! Week of Oct. 30- Nov.. 3
Monday Greetings !
Today students received their Federal Impact Forms. This form is vital to Camden County Schools funding. We are required to have a signed form from every student currently enrolled. Please help make this process an easy one for us all. Please ask your child for their form, fill in any necessary information, sign and date, and return to school TOMORROW!
Last Friday students were provided with an hour study hall to help them complete assignments, catch up on missed work, or read independently. Our hope was that the number of students with failing grades, or incomplete work would be reduced greatly. Unfortunately many of them did not take full advantage of this opportunity. Please take a moment to review your child's Power School account with them. There is still time to bring up grades that are lower than they should be, but the only one who can do that is the student themselves. Thank you for your continued help and support with this.
Our STEM Certification ceremony was postponed at the last minute last week. We will keep you updated if we hear any news on this.

Mr. Frazier
This week, Team 8-2 Mathematics will continue our study of applying the laws of exponents to produce equivalent expressions. We will test on this topic Wednesday, then transition to Scientific Notation. Every student has been provided a study guide to keep inside his or her Math Notebook. Please ensure your child has his or her study guide and is completing it as we go. At this point, every student should be able to complete the first five sections. Most questions on our quizzes will come from the study guide. If students are struggling with one of the standards, please encourage them to bring it up to me either before or during class.
