THE GREAT SNOW OF 1717

ZION NEAT, 6TH PERIOD

TIMES A TICKIN

THE BLIZZARD TOOK ALMOST 2 MONTHS BEFORE IT DIED DOWN FROM 25 FEET TO 10 FEET ALLOWING SOME RISKY PEPLE TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES FOR GROCERIES. SOME PEOPLE ADAPTED TO THE COLD BY LIVING IN THE ATTIC SO THEY COULD ESCAPE THROUGH A WINDOW TO GET FOOD. OTHERS ADAPTED BY FINDING SHOVELS SO THEY COULD DIG THERE WAY OUT TO GET GROCERIES. OTHERS ALSO ADAPTED BY BURNING FURNITURE TO STAY WARM.
