Reminders and Expectations:
- Cell phone use is not permitted during class unless it is for instructional purposes
- Students need to put their cell phones in their backpacks when not in use.
- Do not allow students out of class for unnecessary purposes--send students with a hall pass or note if they are visiting the office, nurse, or counselor. This is a safety issue.
- Report to your morning duty assignment promptly at 7:30a.m. Students should report to their intervention, 1st period, or homeroom class upon arriving on campus. (If you do not have a morning duty assignment, you should be in your classroom at 7:30a.m. to monitor students that arrive on campus early)
- Secondary Teachers: Maximize instructional time-students should not be waiting at doorways or out in hallways waiting for classes to change.
- If you are wearing jeans: they are reserved for spirit days/game days, should be in good repair (no holes), and worn with a Chireno ISD/purple spirit shirt. Professionalism is expected at all times.
Technology Training Feedback
I'm so excited to see all of the cool things that you are trying out in your classes since the technology presentations. I know that the students have enjoyed the new applications that you are using and it is a great start. Please don't give up and let me know what I can do to help you if something doesn't work out the first time you incorporate it into your class. Thanks again to the teachers who presented the new tech-tools to us and don't forget to consult one of them if you need help or ideas.
Thanks,
Brandy Gray
