Hinduism
The dominant religion of India. One of their rituals is karma.
They believe in reincarnation. Polytheistic. Hindu women and girls wear clothes, which cover their whole body, except the face. Hinduism has gradually developed over four thousand years. The religion in India came from the Aryan culture.
Buddhism
Indigenous to the Indian subcontinent. They worship Buddha. Buddhism started with the birth if Buddha. Their rituals are made to bring enlightenment and blessings to oneself and others. They meditate. They are monotheistic.
They celebrate Buddhist new year, Vesak puja, and many more holidays.
Judaism
Came from the Greek and ancient Judea. It is monotheistic. They read the Hebrew bible. They believe that God is eternal
And real, and they believe that the messiah will come. Jews celebrate Hanukkah. It is a tradition for young boys and girls to have a bat mitzvah.
Christianity
Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that Jesus is God's son, and that God is the only God. They are monotheistic. They read the Holy bible. Christianity developed out of Judaism. Christians celebrate Christmas, Easter, and many more holidays.
Islam
It is polytheistic. One of their practices is the mystical ritual. Based off Muhammad. The "Five Pillars of Islam" are some of their practices. They have holidays, in which they fast, and celebrate the birth of the Prophet.
