Global School Play Day
Play is an important part of growing up and learning. We may well learn more about life through play than we do in all of the academic books you are subjected to in school. We learn social skills, character, collaboration, creativity, manners, rules, and many other positive characteristics that we all want for our children.

Below are some pictures. By the way, I heard this from our students more than once - "This is the best day ever!"

Slackwood is sponsoring a team and Mr. Billy is the captain. We would love to have more of our Slackwood families involved. Please click on this link to join our team or donate to this amazing cause.

Check out this video with Hayden Clark (former Slackwood Student) who was the force behind starting our team years ago https://youtu.be/hgJEO_ayBOc
I know Mr. Billy doesn't have any hair but he promises to let it grow for a month before the event so you can see it all shaved off on the day.
If you want to donate to Mr. Billy having his head shaved, please click here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/812482/2016
We Need Your HELP!
Please try to get your students here early. If they are here right at 8 o'clock we will accept them but they are actually late because work starts at 8. At 8:01 they must come to the front door and a parent must sign them in. THANK YOU!

Missing something? Check out the Lost and Found!
One way to avoid having things fall into the abyss is to make sure you write your child's name on clothing items. If there is a name on it, we'll be sure to get it back to them. Put it on the inside tag or collar. Anywhere we can find it will be helpful.
