8th Graders from Martin and Riverside Visit the CTC
On January 5th & 6th, 8th graders were bussed from Martin and Riverside respectively to tour the CTC Program classrooms and Labs at EPHS. This was a school-day field trip to see our Career and Technical classes in action and learn more about how to apply for a program that interests them. The 3 hour trip for each school included a brief presentation by CTC Director Mr. Hanlon in the auditorium regarding the benefits of Career and Technical Education and information on how to apply. Then, in groups, the middle schoolers visited each of our 11 programs for about 10 minutes each before returning on the bus to their school. This visit piqued the interest of many 8th graders who came back with their parents to the evening Open House.

Applying to a CTC Program
As part of the application, student will be asked to write a cover letter explaining why they would like to join the CTC program they are applying for. That letter will be the primary consideration in acceptance. We will begin to review all applications on 3/16 and notify applicants of acceptance in mid April.
